“Nice Kid”Interview
Here is my interview about my new song “Nice Kid”, which I released last month. In the video below, I talk a bit more about the motivations behind the song and what it means to me.
Being nice is wonderful, but sometimes it’s really tough, especially when it gets to the point where you feel like you can’t say no to people or speak your mind. People become close to you only because they know you’ll be easy to take advantage of. This song is for all the nice kids. Continue being the wonderful people you are, but know that being nice shouldn’t make you feel obligated to exhaust yourself for others or stay hidden in the background. It took me a while to realize this, but you are important and you deserve to be heard.
